He turned out to be the Alpha heir of the Sunfire pack, Julian Sterling.
To repay me for saving his life, after Julian returned to his pack, he immediately announced that I would be his future Luna.
Within a year, I gave birth to a pure-blood Alpha, which was extremely rare in the Sunfire pack.
Julian was overjoyed, and he named me his Luna after his father passed on the leadership to him. I not only had a mate who was outwardly loyal to me, but I also held an unparalleled position.
As for my sister, Rosalie Ashford, she chose Jacob Blackwell, the courageous Alpha heir of the Stoneridge pack, to be her mate. However, she suffered because of her betrayal, and in the end, she was sent back to the Silvermoon pack.
The pack believed that Rosalie had tarnished the glory of the pack, so they banished her. I took pity on her loneliness, so I brought her to the Sunfire pack's territory.
However, she grew jealous of me. She killed me with silver-infused poison, and she even threw our pup off a tower, killing him.
When I open my eyes again, I have returned to the day of the mate selection ceremony. I watch as Roselia runs without hesitation toward the dying wolf in the woods, Julian.
Hence, I know that she is reborn as well.
However, she has no idea that while it may be easy to save an Alpha, it's exceedingly difficult to bear his pure-blood descendant.
Being the Luna of the Sunfire pack is anything but easy!
Chapter 1
For the pack's prosperity and power, all the young females of the Silvermoon pack had to choose their mates at the coming-of-age ceremony. My sisterRosalie Ashfordand I were recognized as the most beautiful females in the pack, so when word got around that we were about to choose our mates, almost all eligible males from nearby packs gathered at our camp.
My mind was a complete mess, and I had a headache so terrible that I felt like collapsing to the ground, writhing.
Meanwhile, Rosalie was beaming as she stood next to me. Beside her, the Elder was talking incessantly.
I couldn't help but clench my fists when I saw the familiar scene. I couldn't believe I had been reborn and returned to the day we chose our mates.
When I saw the sweet smile on Rosalie's face, I subconsciously shivered. If it weren't for the betrayal I had experienced in my past life, I would never have known of the darkness lurking beneath her sweet smile.
In my past life, on our way to the ceremonial hall, we encountered a wolf dying from severe burns caused by silver. Rosalie only cared about arriving ahead of me to choose the strongest mate available, so while I was tending to the wolf's wounds, she hurried to the ceremonial hall on her own.
After choosing the future Alpha of the Stoneridge pack, Jacob Blackwell, Rosalie claimed that I had no respect for the ceremony at all, so she dismissed the rest of the males.
By the time I rushed into the hall, it was already empty. The Elder reprimanded me for my stubbornness and punished me by making me reflect in solitary confinement.
Rosalie was overjoyed. After all, since birth, I had been blessed by the Moon Goddess more than she was. My wolf form was more beautiful than hers, too. I had overshadowed her since childhood, and the pack had favored me over her as well.
Now, I had no mate, and I even angered several packs. This was exactly what she wanted to see.
The pack was worrying about my future when a messenger from the Sunfire pack arrived bearing generous gifts, asking me to become the future Luna to their Alpha heir.
As it turned out, the dying wolf was Julian Sterling of the Sunfire pack.
Rosalie was furious when she heard the news.
Less than a year after my bonding ceremony with Julian, I bore him a pure-blood Alpha, which was extremely rare in the pack.
Julian was elated, and he immediately made me his Luna after his father passed on the leadership to him. Moreover, the entire Sunfire pack was grateful to me for giving them a powerful heir. The Elders constantly reminded Julian to be loyal to me and never betray my trust.
I was at the peak of my glory.
However, it was the exact opposite for Rosalie. After she and Jacob became mates, her infidelity was exposed, and she was sent back to the Silvermoon pack covered in wounds.
